Ginger Roots and The Protectors are a reggae roots band from Encinitas, California that was formed in 2012 by frontman Chase Brokaw(Ginger Roots) and  brother Spencer Brokaw.  The Protectors, the band, includes Spencer on percussion and background vocals, Fully Fullwood on Bass, Stevie Verhault on guitar and background vocals, Santa Davis on drums, Alex Somerville on Keyboards as well as other great musicians filling in or performing as the horn section.
